Welcome to Imperial Trading Cards!

To say Imperial Trading Cards has had humble beginnings is an understatement.

Conceived as an individual passion project in late 2019, Imperial Trading Cards started life as a hole in the wall selling Sports Cards and Magic out of a vestigial section of hallway attached to a local furniture store. Against all odds and clawing its way through the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the store quietly grew, expanding to Pokemon and Yugioh until, having few other places to turn to for regular events at the time, it would eventually catch the wider interest of the Yugioh community at large. From there a grassroots community formed around the store, lifting it out of its “furniture adjacent” origins and adopting it as their own.

In time, it grew to welcome many of us from many different games and walks of life. And though Imperial would eventually move on from bits and pieces of its origin including sports cards, its original location, and even its original owner. One thing, one very important thing, never changed: Imperial is a store for the community.
